Like so many women today, I spent years hating my body and struggling with my weight.

And I tried absolutely everything to make my weight problem go away.  Weight Watchers.  LA Weight-loss.  Slim Fast.  Protein Power diet.  Atkins Diet.  Not eating.  Eating only 2 salads a day.  Going to the gym excessively, even twice a day at times.  


I was overweight, sick, and depressed as a young woman.  When I see the pictures of myself from back then, it breaks my heart.  I was so cruel to myself.  The torture I put myself through…things I would never say to another person…  


Then, after a major health crisis, I was not able to use “conventional” means to treat the PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Insulin Resistance that I had been diagnosed with, which meant, if I wanted to look and feel better, I had to look in the alternative community for answers.  


It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it sent me on a truth seeking mission.  At first, it was because I decided I needed to find a way to lose weight that actually worked, though in the beginning, it was all because I wanted to look better.


I eventually found out that everything that the so-called experts were selling me was very incomplete. What I thought I knew, what I thought was the “right way” or the ONLY way to lose weight was NOT the whole story.  


It wasn’t even half of the story.  In fact, less than half of the 85 pounds came off because of the food and exercise.  After awhile, I stalled out, plateaued and the weight-loss stopped. 


But, each new discovery lead me to another and another and another.  


I knew I had to start doing the inner work.  I had assumed that I was going to have to be satisfied with my body as it was, that somewhere around 40 pounds was probably all I would lose.  Boy was I wrong…


When I did start doing that healing work, something amazing happened. More weight came off, even though I wasn’t really trying to lose more weight because I didn’t think it was possible! 


I learned that I was releasing weight as a side effect to the healing work I was doing on myself.


But, this is the HARD work.  Probably some of the hardest work I’ve ever had to do.  And it required me to be radically honest with myself if I was going to make any progress.   


As you can imagine, it took awhile to put all these pieces together.  Years in fact.


I want to shorten that for you.  I don’t want you to have to go through the learning curve that I did.
